They are in need of these new items:bath towels and bath mats, twin or full sheet sets,  shower liners and hooks, large pots and skillets, cutting boards, brooms and dustpans, mops and buckets. Please consider bringing one item to the meeting.

Our big event for the year is coming to a close! Thanks to all who attended and enjoyed the luncheon, CABI fashion show and auction. It was

a fun time to see friends and shop. And MANY thanks and blessings to all who worked and gave of their time and support, preliminary financial results show a big success.

This was our first year to use an electronic auction and it was a  significant change for our group. We received lots of great feedback and expect the auction to be even better next year! Several remaining auction items, with prices reduced, are still available on our auction site. Enter your bids through October 7, 2019.  Items will be available for pickup at the October 16 members meeting or other arrangements can be made by texting Karen McCoy or Teri Gordon.  Thanks again for supporting our students through our scholarship fund!

President’s Message

The Pearls of Wisdom event this year was a success thanks to all those who helped on the committee, attended the function and donated items or money. Our recipients are grateful to all of you. There were many people who made this happen and I can’t name them all, but you know who you are. Our leaders, Karen McCoy and Cindy Zwickel put in many long hours helping to get this first year with our digital platform up and running. There unceasing dedication will make next year even easier. THANK YOU. Though they did a lot of the work there were many hands that made this happen and I thank all of you. What a wonderful day it was. God smiled on us with a beautiful day and a full room of attendees.

Now on to our next big function mentioned above: Bishop Spalding is our guest speaker at the October meeting! This is a great opportunity to meet and hear our new bishop, plus invite your friends and spouses to come see who we are and what we do, plus get to hear the bishop.

Once again we are in the big room at Richland Country Club and we need to fill it up.

See you all on October 16.
