Dear Beloved CBT Newsletter Subscribers,

I have not bothered you in many months, and for that you are very welcome. But a new college hoops season is underway which calls for a new newsletter. Apologies to those who thought they had previously unsubscribed.

Oooh, we can unsubscribe, Dave?!

You surely don’t want to do that. See, I come with an invitation to College Basketball Times' Holiday Zoom Netcast next Thursday (12/15).

Impressive guest list, Dave. Will you be there too?

Yes, yes, I will.

Ok, I still might come anyway, but tell me more.

There will be fun and games and humor as well as updates on our cover stories and our brand new Domination Rankings. Speaking of those Domination Rankings. . .

Uh Dave, who was speaking of the Domination Rankings other than you?

Our first set came out last week and did very well . Now in case you aren't familiar with the Domination Rankings . . .

In case?

. . . they have women, men and all levels of college basketball, including wheelchair ranked together based on which teams are most dominating their division. The #1 team in the country is: UMass Women’s Club team who are undefeated with an average margin of victory of a whopping 60 points.

And we’ve had some fantastic cover stories recently:

Emaia O’Brien - They call her Biggie. She’s 5 foot 1, a ton of fun and somehow someway is playing D1. (Rhyme mostly intentional.)

Bryan Baptiste - Somehow someway is playing college hoops after an 8 year career in the Marines.

London Cobbs - Somehow someway is playing college hoops despite a lifetime as a “knucklehead.”

Emilee Gustafson - possibly my favorite and possibly because I got called in to write it.

She somehow someway keeps getting better despite getting worse.

Dave, I must say you did a fine job of letting us know everything that’s going on with CBT. So what are we getting at the “Netcast” that you haven’t given us here, you know, other than humor.

Ok, that hurts a bit. But there will be fun and games with trivia supplied by our host, David Yas of the Boston Podcast Network. Maybe, just maybe, there’ll be a few other surprises with lots of laughs. To register for the Netcast, all you have to do is go to this link and comply with the required steps.

The “required steps”? Sounds like you are trying to hit us up for some . . .

Whether you can make in on 12/15 or not, I do hope you keep supporting College Basketball Times and our non-profit missions of Equality and Education.

Another newsletter with another update should be coming your way in a few weeks.

That reminds me, where's that unsubscribe button, Dave?

And please don’t unsubscribe.

Sincerely,

Dave Barend - Grand Poobah
