Happy Thanksgiving

from Writer on Demand TM

Donald J. Bingle

Tis the season for turkey, football, family, shopping, and a tsunami of holiday music. I'm thankful for all of the above and for my many writing friends, supporters, and readers. But, if the endless stream of Christmas carols and merry holiday tunes set you on edge (or if you are just finishing up NaNoWriMo and are gearing up for submitting your fresh new novella to your local writers' group or literary workshop) you might want to click on the video above and check out my reading a few years ago of Season's Critiquings, which imagines that Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer was submitted to a critique service. If you enjoy the video, feel free to share it with friends, family, and social media contacts as much as you would like. If you want, click on the title above and send an e-copy of the story as a Christmas card for just 99 cents. Cheaper than a card (plus postage!) and a great, fun way to share a humorous, memorable experience with those dear to you.

You can also find the rest of the series, Merry Mark-Up, Holiday Workshopping, or Santa Clauses and Phrases, individually for 99 cents each, or grab the whole Christmas Carol Critique Collection for $2.99. (If you are a Kindle Unlimited member, you can get any or all of these for free.) And, hey, if you don't have time to read because you are too busy with holiday shopping on Amazon, please also keep in mind that by accessing Amazon by clicking on any of my links in my newsletter or on my website, I get a small referral fee at no cost to you.

Ho, Ho, Ho!

(To my pirate friends: Yo, Ho, Ho!)

(To my writer friends: No Mo NaNoWriMo!

Lastly, I invite you to take a look at the promotions above. Not only can they provide a great way for my introverted friends to escape from interacting with relatives for a while, they can give anyone a few new books and stories to curl up with while the winds howl outside or while they endure the inevitable travel delays this week (but no reading while driving).

A Happy Thanksgiving to All!
