As always, the 2023 MCACN weekend lived up to its reputation as another sensational event. Raising the bar, the displays showcased an impressive blend of quality and diversity, with something for every automotive enthusiast. My days onsite were a whirlwind of activity, including hosting Official Unveilings, a book signing, and more. Getting you up to speed, here's a roundup of highlights that unfolded this year. |

One of the red-hot areas of interest was related to a late-model Pontiac classic - the Firebird Firehawk. Hawks Motorsports made lots of news with an unveiling of their new Continuation Series plus garnering my Celebrity Pick Award. Catch up on both stories below. |

Fire-breather A storied F-body limited edition is being revived with modern power.

Show-Stopper With deep owner passion & a 62-mile stunner, this star stood out.

Amidst all this Firehawk buzz, a bonus was connecting with Reg Harris, the former Director of Marketing at SLP Engineering during the original model's launch! Over numerous conversations, it was a thrill to hear about his years of experience during this exciting era of Pontiac performance. |

Hailing from the Great White North, another show-stopper was this beautiful Canadian Beaumont Custom convertible. Besides a stellar restoration, what caught my eye was the unique presentation, complete with period redline snow tires and faux winter wonderland snowscape. |

With such appeal, the droptop was awarded the Mecum Auctions Sponsor Pick Award. Its owners, Ed and Kim, are passionate about GM A-bodies and you can catch more of their story in my latest Mecum On the Move column below. |

Another special showgoer I ran into included my friend & artist, Rich Keylard. Rich was displaying his incredible panel van adorned with all kinds of custom artwork. It truly is wild and I was honored to be asked to autograph the vehicle's door. Click here to read my message to him. |

Mecum Auctions was MCACN's Title Sponsor and in the booth was all kinds of top-tier muscle, including stunning Mopars, a Yenko 427 Camaro, and an L88 Corvette. All this (and a bunch more) is heading to the World's Largest Collector Car Auction, Mecum Kissimmee 2024, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary. The gathering was a small preview of what's in store for Florida and there's no better way to kick off the New Year than with sun, thousands of cars, and 13 days of auction action! |

It's hard to believe it's already come & gone but what a fabulous MCACN show! Mark your calendars now - it'll return November 23 and 24th, 2024! |
