Coming Soon: 24-Hour Contactless Pickup |
Have you recently noticed the big, blue "Library Locker" at the entrance of your local York County Library branch? We are excited to announce that these new lockers will soon be available to YCL cardholders for convenient, 24-hour pickup service! To use the lockers, you'll simply search the online catalog to find and place a hold on the items you want to check out, choose a Library Locker pickup location, and wait for an email notifying you when your items are ready. |
You may then visit your designated Library Locker and scan your library card or enter your card's barcode number to open the locker door and retrieve your materials. Note that some items may not be eligible for locker pickup, such as Interlibrary Loans, Mobile HotSpots, or larger items. Look for more details and announcements on our Library Lockers soon! |

Libby Updates Add New Sort & Filter Options |
We have some exciting news for our Libby users! The most recent update streamlines sorting and filtering for loans, holds, tags, and timeline activities, letting you review and select your preferred sort and filter options on the Shelf and Timeline using the new filter button. You can also filter your wish list and other tags by availability, and even pin this filter to see titles that are immediately available to borrow from any of their tags. Additional updates include: Sort and filter options tailored for each Shelf screen. For example, sort your Loans screen by "due next," your Holds screen by "expected next," and more.
Users with multiple library cards can filter Loans, Holds, or Timeline activity by library. You can now pin your preferred sort and filter options so that Libby automatically remembers that filter the next time you visit that screen.
From the Timeline, tap the filter button to see a graph of your reading activity by year, or further filter your reading activity for a specific year, graphed by month.
Soon, Libby will also update your options for sorting and filtering lists and search results when browsing the library’s collection — stay tuned for more information! Still using the OverDrive app? Switch to Libby today! |
