Dear Friends of PNA North Houston,
Thank you so much for attending our 1st Nursing Excellence and Scholarship Award and Induction of the Bold and Unstoppable 2022-2024 President and her Executive Board Gala. We are proud to have brought together such an amazing group of nurses, physicians, friends, families and dignitaries like you. We were delighted with the caliber of speakers that we had, Jocelyn Auxier, President of the Texas HOSA, Dr. James P. Herlihy, Dr. Philip Pirtle, our keynote speaker Dr. Veronica Martin, the induction speech of Dr. Mila Sprouse, and the energy and engagement of our attendees.
Our theme this year is being Bold and Unstoppable to meet and exceed our GOALs in alignment with our national goals. In the last two months, this Executive Board has taken the reign of the association and has already accomplished and exceeded some of the goals, and we are just getting started! We congratulate our well-deserved awardees, especially the Presidential Award and the Nursing Scholarship recipients. We want to extend our gratitude to all volunteers, to the middle and high school students who welcomed and escorted our guests, to the Color Guard ROTC of Spring High School Mighty Lions led by Master Chief Mark Clarke, to Reverend Pastor Pacleb's invocation, to Joanne Congco Antoine’s beautiful rendition of the national anthems and an intermission performance, to the Filipino Young Professional (FYP) dance performance culminated by audience participation, and to the Executive Board members and members of the association's dance performance.
We are grateful that so many of you so generously supported - and continue to support - our cause in myriad ways. You are making a difference in the lives of nursing heroes and our community, and we look forward to growing this impact in the months to come.
Be sure to mark your calendar for the next year's Medical Mission scheduled for September 17, 2023 in the Philippines.
