Join our in-person Spanish Club! Interactive, creative fun to teach you Spanish or deepen your Spanish skills. Our multi-aged group means all of your students can join at the same time. Play games, make crafts, and more fun activities structured to increase your child's Spanish fluency regardless of their baseline level. Great for kids who attend Spanish Immersion school, kids whose parents are native speakers and wish their kids would speak more Spanish and kids who parents don't speak Spanish at all and want their kids to learn in a natural, fun way that includes them.

Teens & Privates
For students who are taking these classes to only fulfill their own desire to learn Spanish, the enrichment option offers that experience.
For students who are also trying to fulfill a homeschool World Language requirement, the "for credit" option will fulfill this requirement in most states. Please contact us if your state has very specific requirements and we will let you know if we can fulfill them. For credit students will receive a syllabus, graded assignments and assessments and a certificate of completion with covered Standards of Learning and grades notated on the "back". If digital versions of these are not acceptable, please communicate that to us and we can snail mail them to you. Please be sure to purchase the "for-credit" add-on so that our instructor can be fairly compensated for the extra time they spend creating documentation.

Students will learn basic Spanish skills. The exact curriculum will depend on the skills, needs and interests of the enrolled students and will likely include:
- the alphabet
- greetings
- various uses of numbers
- simple yes or no questions and answers
- simple information seeking questions, and
- vocabulary that helps them express themselves on topics that are relevant to their life.
Students will spend time playing games, role playing and practicing speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. Some work is required between classes to retain what was learned from one week to the next.

Spanish 2 Online
Minimum Required Skills
- Spanish alphabet
- Use numbers up to 10
- Simple vocabulary such as colors, sizes, foods
- Gustar (to like)
- Be able to talk about common activities in their lives, such as studying, resting, watching tv, play instruments, running, cooking, etc, during the weekend.
- Be able to talk about likes and dislikes.
- Be able to talk about the family members and express relationships, such as my, your, her, their, etc.
- Be able to describe physical characteristics of people and animals.
- Be able to describe personality characteristics of people.

Students should know how to introduce themselves and have short "getting to know you" conversations, how to conjugate verbs and use them in yes/no and information seeking questions, and how to describe what they see. They will build on these skills in the spring session.

- Make and understand simple sentences conjugating verbs in the present and present progressive tenses

Students will learn/ review the difference between the preterite and imperfect tenses, practice navigating between present and past tenses, learn more sophisticated sentence structures and will use role plays to practice expressing their own thoughts in practical situations.
