A weekly edit, full of all singing and dancing makers, artists, interiors, food, fashion, gardening, music and more. Hello, The light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter; Government guidelines are relaxing, outside spaces are starting to re-open, and next week some children are back to school. Enjoy these last few days being in the cocoon of your own home, I'm certainly going to make the most it and garden like mad! xx Georgie xx |

THE CAMPING EDIT Last weekend we waved goodbye to our lovely bell tent (lesson to self: never put away canvas unless it is bone dry, otherwise it will rot ...) and hello to our new, rather more practical tent (shown in the 'essentials' link below). Whether you are camping in the garden or plan on a trip further afield (once Gov. guidelines allow) I have put together a handful of camping essentials that might be of use.

I will be moving the Cushions for Charities onto a separate page on my website next week. The fabric below is on the cutting table ready to make into cushions; once the page is live and the cushions made, I will be sharing them on my social media platforms, so don't miss out, follow me on instagram or twitter (see link below and at the end of the newsletter). |

ALFRED ENDERBY Alfred Enderby produces award winning traditional fish which can be easily ordered from their website: alfredenderby.co.uk where you will also find recipes such as the smoked haddock and green herb risotto which is also this week's recipe (link below). In Marco Pierre White's words: 'simply the best smoke house in the UK and the best smoked fish I have eaten in decades'.

GETTING OUT It's exciting to read that various organisations such as the National Trust, English Heritage and some stately homes are gradually re-opening their gardens/outside sites. English Heritage have around 200 free-to-enter sites open now and the National Trust have opened more than 200 coast and countryside car parks. Stately homes are individually deciding on how they progress in this evolving world. Local to us Castle Howard will re-open their gardens and grounds next week* (*members from 3rd June and for all visitors from 8th June). Wherever you are heading - check with the venue that it is open before you set off, many places are operating a booking system too.
