Half A Decade Long: CEO's Special |

CEO’s Journal (5 Years Of Astrix) 2018: I was really fed up of spam calls from Byjus, Toppr selling their stupid tablet and some shit course for like 50-100k. That’s what made me think why can’t I build an e-learning app that’s user-centric, has quality content (not your conventional learning), and doesn’t call you. (Even to this day, we do not have any phone number of Astrix. We don’t call users no matter what, not send marketing messages on WhatsApp, not even send SMS for promotion) 2019: Things were going smoothly, I won the TCS IT Wiz with Amri (co-founder). We organised quizzes in our school, my classmates used to pay 50-100 for quiz tickets, and we used to provide them with certificates and prizes. We invested in our first domain astrixstudy.org.in, which we recently closed down. |

2020: In March everything went upside-down, for good. Astrix turned into retail, at the time when the COVID restrictions were relaxed, Astrix got into digital events, e-commerce, and selling books and bookmarks on Amazon. We sold over 250+ books and 100+ sets of bookmarks over a period of 6 months. Onboarded our Brand Ambassador Arfi Laamba. 2021: In 2021, Astrix expanded, and we built our digital frontier. Collaborated with Prajakta Koli, Chetan Bhagat, and Rajesh Kava. Astrix also started generating substantial revenue. Launched the Astrix show with Ronak as the guest, hosted by me. 2022: Astrix grew and revenues started getting higher. The team started making good money. Lots and lots of collaborations, we even sponsored the TEDxSITB. Did the Astrix Live with Shrug (Shreyansh Jena). Did our first external hire Isha Choudhury. 2023: Astrix reached a team of 20+ people. Hosted offline podcasts with well-known guests across the country. Did a proper launch of Astrix Merch and completed 69 (the golden number) orders. Astrix also got the exclusive management of Masterchef Avinash Patnaik. Sponsored events like KIIT MUN and TEDxSITB. |

It's been 7 days since we joined the company (unofficially, he's been making us work way before that too lol). Rumor has it we'll only be paid in crazy. Not in gold coins, not in regular cash, but crazy. Wonder what that means... Anyways, here's to surviving the first week. (Hope we don't get the difficult stuff) To the next week and beyond! ~ Nidhi and Swadhiti Embarking on the journey with Astrix has been nothing short of transformative. Each project has served as a canvas for honing my skills, and the collaborative environment has fostered a culture of continuous improvement. This experience has not only expanded my skill set but has also opened doors to unforeseen opportunities, affirming the belief that true growth is a dynamic amalgamation of learning, challenges, and the gratification of reaping financial rewards. Astrix has not just been a workplace; it has been a crucible for my evolution, forging a path toward a future defined by perpetual advancement. I had to write this from chatgpt because khudse likhta toh Siddhant salary rok deta meri. ~ Arindam Panigrahi Astrix? Bro, Astrix has been a total roller coaster for me with ups and downs, but with an overall upwards 📈. But in the end, Astrix has been a family that I wish to be a part of till the end. ~ Swastik Mohanty |

What I Did On My Child's Bday |

It was the Content Head’s idea to shoot a podcast with me for the completion of 5 years of Astrix today. Since everyone refers to me as ‘’self-obsessed’’(I completely disagree with), I became really excited about the shoot. On the 19th that was the Indian v/s Australia World Cup match, we sort of attacked the space, for the proceedings and oh boy, was it a day. We started late, and the raw footage was probably 1hr 10mins, after editing the video came out to be 34mins. The rest was just the host laughing like a maniac, but we generated content for them as well. Stay tuned for that on our Instagram page @theastrixshow. The best part of the special announcement for the staff, but they all said, the best was the food. Well, what do they know, salary kaat lunga unki. Nonetheless, the cake was amazing, and match dekhte dekhte we all enjoyed. Though announcement ke baad, everyone wanted to beat me up but again, salary kaat lunga. Anyway, had a lot of fun, India chahe haar gaya ho, but I guess I WON IN LIFE. |

Ek Dhokebaaz Ki Premkatha So recently I came across a rejection, rejection in love. Ab bata toh nahi sakte ki kiska hai, but podcast dekh k you will get some idea. A boy, a treacherous boy jo ki logon ko bas dhoka deta tha apne fayade ke liye, he fell in love with close friend (not gay), true love. Ab log pyaar main kya-kya nahi karte, he gifted her chocolates, earrings, flowers, birthday pe bhi bula liya. Despite of everything she friend-zoned him. Ofc, his friends did warn him against the consequences, but he was so blind in love, that is didn’t care. And phir with lost self-esteem, he confessed her, Jahan se ki vo reject hogaya. 💜 Serves him right for me. ~ Anonymous Samjhne wale samjh gaye, jo na samjhe vo Siddhant…
