Season's Greetings Delta Theta Chapter Sisters!

We have a new format for our Newsletters and we are excited to share it with you!

This year has brought our Chapter so many new things and new ways that we have stayed connected and involved in our communities, and I continue to be inspired by all of you and your commitments to life, your Sisters and our Fraternity! I have been privileged to join our Sisters for IRD, Fall Recruitment, Initiation, Feast of Roses, and now, I look forward to my first Executive Council meeting as one of the newest members of the Advisor Team for Delta Theta. Each year I get to spend with you all is a year that enriches my life and truly brings my whole experience with Alpha Gamma Delta closer to full circle!

There are a lot of great things coming up in 2020 for Delta Theta Chapter and I can't wait to see how we all come together and show our Sisters how we are truly Loving. Leading. Lasting.

Chapter Advisor Notes:

Since becoming the Chapter Advisor back in April, Delta Theta has continued to be constantly busy, as I’m sure you all remember from your time as a collegiate. They have held two successful philanthropies, welcomed approximately 30 new members to our sisterhood, filled the chapter house to capacity, continue to recruit amazing women to our chapter, all while maintaining above a 3.0 GPA as a chapter. The woman recently placed second in the homecoming competition while simultaneously crushing their mid term tests/projects. I have had the opportunity to oversee the implementation of their big/little system and the amazing relationships that blossom from it. The women continue to live out our purpose and represent Alpha Gamma Delta in the best light. I have always been proud to be a member of Alpha Gamma Delta but seeing the collegiate women succeed and experience being an Alpha Gam in their own ways has given me a new appreciation for this amazing organization.

New Advisors: Wendy Brenan (Delta Beta '90) is our Chapter Wellness Advisor. She is an Alumna member of the Delta Beta chapter and a Pullman native. She recently moved back to Pullman after living in Texas and is extremely excited to be helping and working with the collegiate officers. Renee Skau is our Property Advisor. She is not a member of Alpha Gamma Delta but eager to learn more about the Greek system and help the women of Delta Theta. She currently works for Residence Life here at the University of Idaho. Lily Loucks '14 is our Philanthropy Advisor. She is a recent graduate of the University of Idaho and fellow Alumna member of the Delta Theta chapter. Her previous experience as a Philanthropy Chair will bring great insight to help ensure that Delta Theta’s philanthropic events are successful. She is currently living and working in the Boise area and will be advising remotely. I am beyond grateful for the time and effort that all of Delta Theta’s Advisors put in to make sure that the collegians can have an amazing experience. If you want to be a part of the advisory board, we do still have some positions that can be filled.

Delta Theta Chapter Advisor

Collegiate Chapter Notes:

When I first became President, I did not know what to expect. Over time however I realized that being President is one of the most unique officer positions that a member can hold as a collegiate member. The President gets to oversee everyone’s positions which allows them to be able to gain a deeper understanding of what makes up Alpha Gamma Delta. They also get to work with many new and amazing people that help their chapter grow and achieve their goals. During my time as Delta Thetas President I have learned to love my chapter and the sisters who make it up even more than I did before I was elected to this position.
