Hello Friends! I hope you have had a wonderful summer 🤍 I've been super busy and finally found time to send a newsletter out. Here is a snippet of what I have been up too!

The sunsets in Chautauqua County, NY have been amazing this summer! My husband took this picture one evening in our church parking lot after a Wednesday night service. I thought it was breathtakingly beautiful --and even submitted it to a local photography contest! We haven't heard whether he won a prize yet.

Sunday morning church services can be pretty busy for me as a pastor's wife! If I'm not teaching Sunday school, or playing the keyboard, then I am leading songs for the worship service --But, I always make time to connect with my two grandsons after service. This is Levi and River's favorite spot to chat with Mimi.

Grandma Becky passed out Fourth of July flags to the cousins during Sunday School class. Here they are trying to sing, "God Bless America," and doing a pretty good job of it too!

We managed some time off in June and took a trip to the Erie Zoo with family and friends --it was a blast!

A ride on the choo-choo train was a must for this little guy, and we were excited to go on the ride too!

Somehow, we managed to buy a pop-up camper a week before our vacation in July and successfully pulled off a camping trip! Let me just say, five days in the woods wasn't nearly long enough to destress. We can't wait to go again!

Aaron and I have been taking evening strolls around our neighborhood together and on one such night, we got caught in a rainstorm. Afterwards there was this beautiful pink glow in the sky with a rainbow. It was so dramatic I had to take a picture and capture the feeling.

Even though I work 35+ hours a week, and minister in the church with my husband, I still find time to visit with the grandkids. They only live 10 minutes away, which is a tremendous blessing. On this day, they ran to the gate to greet me when I came over to have coffee with their momma!

"Mimi!" "Mimi!" They shouted! Oh my, melt my heart ❤

My daughter, Avery, and I had a lovely coffee break that day. After we put the boys down for their nap, I think we sat and talked for two hours without any interruptions, which is VERY rare. Notice the playhouse in the background? I found that playhouse on the side of the road! I asked the homeowner if I they were throwing it away. He said, "Yes, you can have it for free!" The boys love it.

I'm going through old pictures to add to my memoir, which will be published this Fall --keep an eye out for the newsletter-- I found this picture of me from 1st grade. Look at my vibrant excitement for life! I love this picture 🤍 and I will be sure to add it to my book!

Something else I've been busy at this summer, is finishing my Happy Birthday Kitty Coloring Book. This has been in the works for a looooong time and I'm so happy to finally have it published on Amazon. Someday, I will share the backstory to this experience 😊
