Hey there, Hello and welcome to our Newsletter. These come out monthly on the last day of the month, so one just dropped last week. As you just connected with us in the last few days, we thought we would get you right into the swing and send it to you directly. Older news letters are also posted on our website at this link.

Thank you for subscribing and hope you enjoy it.

--------------------------

Hopefully you are getting ready for winter and the holidays. October flew by and we got our first snow in UT.

Building a custom travel home RV from scratch can be overwhelming. Where to start? What to include? What can be done? As our model has a loft bed, we often have to make the point that it is not a requirement and we try to explain how alternate designs could work. The time has come where we can share a couple of concepts. We updated our website with a DESIGNS section. Here we explain some of the design themes and principles. We also provide links to our three design concepts, the CTH34, CTH38, and CTH40.

We would love to hear from you what you think of them. Likes, dislikes, as well as what other models and features you would like to see. Please send us an email, text, or give us a call. You can also message us on our Instagram or Facebook channels.

Worried about Mold? - as we researched how to build the most energy efficient RV possible, using modern high performance building practices was our guide. But with air-tight building envelopes came another challenge: preventing condensation, which causes mold. Proper ventilation was the key and HRVs are the solution. Read this blog post which explains what it is and why you need one in your RV.

Is this a viable exit strategy? - In recent weeks, several people that visited with us brought this topic up. You sold your house, you downsized, you are on the road full time. You could be doing this for many years, but at some point, you may want to settle down.

Now what? Do you really want a big house again? How do you get the most for your RV when you sell it? Interestingly, people looked at our Travel Home and saw a new option. And it was the same idea that caused us to go in this direction in the first place. Click here to read on.....

Where are we now?

October - Kansas - HDT Rally and Little Sweden, Kansas.

The HDT National Rally in Kansas did not disappoint. Over 100 rigs were present and we presented in one of the session to a very engaged audience. Photo day is always a highlight. It takes some time to choreograph, but the results are pretty cool.

We also had the opportunity to meet with Sheila and Todd from SwitchItUp. They are great people and have created a large community that meet quite often, enjoying time together and giving back to the community. They did take a video so we may end up on their YouTube channel. They also did just post a video all about HDTs from a newbies perspective. Check it out here if you are curious.

Another stop was the Swedish Hyllningsfest in Lindsborg Kansas where we participated in the parade. Did not realize how Swedish this town was. Even the local college team is called the Swedes. Lots of fun.

We are now parked in northern UT, where will be most of the winter season, except of course in January when we will be at the Tampa RV show. More on that in our next newsletter.
