On September 2, 2022, we had our first School Supply and Backpack drive. We were able to help 271 children get ready to go back to school with backpacks and supplies. We could not have done it without the help of our volunteers and donors: Centennial High School Key Club, Gresham United Methodist Church, Good News Community Health Center, Gresham Toyota, Esther Velazquez, Craft Warehouse, GUMM, and family and friends. We are very grateful for every contribution. We hope to continue holding this drive every year to help the children and teens in the community. |

The Rockwood Center replaced a Montgomery Wards furnace in the North Room that was likely original to the building. Thanks to generous donations and budget support, we were able to replace the 45-50 year old furnace and add air conditioning. We will save money on heating bills immediately, and we will be able to utilize the space throughout the summer. |
