Images from our last day walk: Capital Ring Parkland Walk |
| | On bank holiday Monday 5th April 2021, twelve intrepid melanin rich walkers, explored the Capital Ring Parkland walk. Between Alexandra palace and Finsbury park, meditating with the old oak tree, sharing visions with the ancient Yew tree & dancing with the hornbeams. These north London dwellers discovered to their delight a parallel universe they have been missing all their lives. They never knew it existed in their own back yard. | | |
| | This parallel awakening brought much joy, laughter & knowledge to their well-being. There were other trees: (silver birch, beech, holly, chestnut) they met along the way that taught the importance of symbiotic existence. The group talked, laughed & celebrated the joy of the natural environment. So healed by the experience our walkers have instigated the bluebell walk. Details below. Hold the date & don't be late! | | |

SOBUNFU SOMÉ transitioned Tuesday 14th January 2014 |
In this profound and sensitive work, Spiritual teacher Sobonfu Some invites readers to discover in the setbacks they encounter in life a path to healing and rebirth. Her message is drawn from the ancient wisdom teachings of her village in Burkina Faso, and her experiences over more than a decade here in the West. Some is a gifted storyteller and compassionate student of life who has contemplated deeply the nature of human triumph and defeat. The insights she offers, blending indigenous wisdom and hard experience in the contemporary West, are priceless. Without denying the suffering that accompanies loss and disappointment, she finds in these events the underlying spiritual dynamics that carry us to higher states of knowledge and fulfillment. |
