Message from the President
Dear Ammons Families,
Thank you to everyone that answered the National PTA School of Excellence Survey! This program will help us strengthen the family-school partnership and ultimate enrich students' educational experiences and well being. We will be asking for your feedback once again by the end of the school year.
Sweet treats were distributed to the students on October 30th and a nice coffee was provided to the teachers on November 3rd. 
Our next General Meeting will be on December 9th at 6pm via Zoom. After the meeting we will have Mrs. Carey as our guest speaker talking about High School Classes offered at Ammons. Be on the watch for details on Bloomz!

PTSA on the Spotlight
This month on the spotlight we have our three Vice-Presidents:
1st VP of Volunteers Angie Perez. She takes care of everything related to volunteers, sign ups, volunteers bank of hours and much more. If you are interested in volunteering at our school or join the PTSA Board please send an email to ammonsvolunteers@gmail.com
2nd VP of Membership Adriana Buitvidas. She is responsible for boosting our general membership, so if you are not a member yet  PLEASE JOIN US! Our PTSA is as strong as the support it has from our community.
3rd VP of Ways and Means Susy Lopez. She is responsible for our fundraisers and new businesses.
We are grateful to have such a enthusiastic and committed team on our Board!

MEMBERSHIP
Support us by becoming a PTSA member! Everybody can be a member, parents/guardians, students, grandparents, uncles and aunts, the whole family and friends! No strings attached, you don't need to volunteer or attend meetings, but if you do so you have  voting privileges. 
Each membership costs $8.00 ($3.5 goes to Florida PTA).

Box Tops
Please continue to collect Box Tops! Note that some products now have a new blue Box Tops logo. In this case you need to download the Box Tops mobile app, choose Herbert Ammons Middle School and SCAN your store RECEIPT. The app finds participating products and instantly add Box Tops  to the school earnings online.

This year we are participating in the Ibiley Uniform Give Back Program. For all online purchases please don't forget to put the uniform give back code AMMONS at checkout!

DIRECT DONATION
The Direct Donation Program was created as an alternate way for families to support our school. Families can make a voluntary, tax deductible contribution to Ammons PTSA and they will receive a certificate with the student's name that will show the level of donation, and can be placed in the student's portfolio to show family involvement.
Bronze Level - From $25 to $59
Silver Level - From $60 to $99
Gold Level - From $100 and up
