HARVEST GIFTS                                                      

Many thanks for your gifts, which will be donated to RAMFEL. If you have more and  have forgotten to bring them, please do bring them next week and leave them in the baskets in the lobby. If you would like to make a financial contribution, please use the blue box at the back of church.

HARVEST LUNCH this afternoon 12.30pm

For ticket holders, our harvest thanksgiving continues with a lunch, cooked by Fr Gareth and Daina, of cottage pie and seasonal vegetables, followed by apple pie and custard and lashings of scrumpy and beer!

…will be on leave from after Mass on Friday 18 October until the 8am Mass on Sunday 27 October. The Mass schedule and emergency contact details for that week will be published in next week’s pew sheet.

YOUTH PARTY Friday 8 November 7-9.30pm

St George’s Church Gants Hill, Woodford Avenue, IG2 6XQ is hosting a party for 11-18 year olds with pizza, a silent (headphone) disco, a bonfire and (at 8pm) a fireworks display. Admission requires parental consent and costs £3. DEMENTIA FRIENDS Saturday 16 November 10.30am

Increase your understanding of dementia, and think about the small things that you can do to make a difference to people affected by it, in this friendly and interactive session of about an hour in our community hall. To register, go to tinyurl.com/smgidf or speak to Nicky Tann.

PARISH PILGRIMAGE Monday 14 - Thursday 17 September

Fifteen places are reserved for us at the Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham for this time of spiritual refreshment and tranquility. Ask  Fr Gareth or Hilary Hardwick about what to expect. Please sign the list at the back of church and give Hilary your non-refundable booking fee of £10 if you would like to join. The total cost is expected to be about £285.
