Barn Talk

Wow it’s Easter, weren’t we celebrating the new year only a few days ago? And of course with Easter means we lose our light and riding time with our wonderful creatures.

Where do I start with a briefing of what has been happening? I have been branching out to some areas where I have not really been before and yet I am loving it.  I love to meet people who are dedicated and love their beautiful horses.

It has been wonderful going to see some of you superstars out competing and hearing of your success. You don’t know how much I love hearing it. But with the good comes the dark and it has been heartbreaking to hear of my client’s losing their beloved companions both horses and dogs.

On that note I would like to give a few words to one of our team who passed in February this year. Our beautiful girl Tigger suddenly became ill and her illness became a mystery which is hard to swallow. She stayed overnight with the vets but passed in the early hours of the morning. Tigger came to us after being broken out of a puppy factory which at the age of 2 she had two litters. She was truly unique but oh so honest and always seeking reassurance. The hard part with her passing is most puppies in the past have been ill for some time until they passed with her it was out of the blue. We love you Tig xoxoxo

So stay safe and love your horse

Farmworld - 24th-26th March

Wow oh wow, what a great weekend to catch up with past, current and future clients at the Equestrian Festival. This was my second year and I can see it growing.

It was great to see all the competitors out there and also the great vendors such as:

Rachel Flynn Equine Photography - capture a wonderful connection with your horse.

The Trading Stables - Bron is a great Saddle Fitter if you are looking for one and awesome tack both western and english.

AE Equestrian & Farming products- fantastic feed bins and tack cabinets

Would love to see more Western at this advent and some demos on some useful methods of working with your horses.

Club 468

Heading into the colder months means less riding for you and your horse and this is the perfect time to look at a maintenance program, Club 468 is one. It is unique and allows your horse to get you ahead of the game as soon as that spring weather comes.

Remember you do not have to have an injured horse to take up the wonderful benefits of my sessions.

Do It For Dolly Day

Something that is very close to my heart is Dolly's Dream and as part of Do It For Dolly Day which falls on 12th May 2023. Our local community will be having on Saturday the 13th May 2023 a Do It for Dolly Day awareness. Breton Equine will be at this event and for the WHOLE month of May any sessions that I do 20% will be going to this fund raising. So not only are you doing something great for your horse but you are also assisting a fantastic cause.

I ask on the 12th May - please wear blue for Dolly
