Q. How do I decide where to place my plants in my home?
A. Sunlight is the number one consideration for where to place your houseplant. An east-facing window is ideal for most plants, but consider the sunlight intensity if you have curtains or blinds. Here’s a great guide for low-light houseplant placement. I always suggest placing your plant in a spot you frequent so you remember to water! If you need additional recommendations for your home or office, I am available for one-on-one plantscaping consultations.
Q. How do I style my plants at home?
A. Play around with different plant shapes and heights along with textured and colored pots to add visual interest to your space. Mounted wall plants can modern vibe or check out our upcoming macramé plant hanger workshop for a boho look. Large tall houseplants such as a Fiddle Leaf Fig can add warmth in a sparsely furnished room. We also help clients rearrange existing plants in their home.
