Welcome back to KinderGym and to term 3 of 2020! Let’s get back into the swing of things with a brand-new theme! Who will be visiting KinderGym this term from the Hundred Acre Wood? But who lives in the Hundred Acre Wood? Winnie the Pooh and his friends will be helping our KinderGymers to learn about opposites. Our aim for the term will be to help our KinderGymers with the development of the DOMINANT MOVEMENT PATTERNS…the stepping-stones to skill development. This will be supported through the term theme, weekly group time songs and the fortnightly guided discoveries (activities). As you wander around KinderGym this term, what might look like “decoration” is actually purposeful play through the guided discoveries - allowing your child(ren) to develop body awareness, new movement patterns, strength and so much more while they feel like they are having so much fun! Each element of our set up has been carefully put in place to help your child to move, learn and grow! Let’s play the KinderGym way!!! Karina |
