ON WINGS OF ASH & DUST
 
As many of you know, this month I submitted YA Fairy Fantasy, "Ash & Dust" to round 7 of Author Mentor Match. We find out next week who was selected so I will let you guys know the results of that ASAP!
 
If I don't get in, I will be looking to do one more round of revisions and then jumping into querying! Eeeeek! :D

While waiting for AMM (which is agonizing btw! lol) I've been working on #ProjectSnow, another YA Fantasy story I wrote this past NaNoWriMo. I haven't put anything official on my website yet bc it's still so new, but let's just say it's a gender-bent retelling of a story I haven't seen retold before, usually set in a warm client but I'm setting it in an icy world of snow, with magic, rebellion, love triangles, an underdog MC, and so much more!
 
What aspect are you most excited about? Any guesses on the retelling?

ALSO! I have a THIRD story project I'm working on!!! Whaaaatt???
 
This story will also be a YA Fantasy (seeing a trend?) but I'm looking to self publish it as a "serial" or what's sometimes called "EPISODIC FICTION". What is that? Think of it like a TV show but in book form! Basically I would come out with a new shorter "episode" (20-30k words) for this serial every few weeks!
 
Would this kind of format interest you?? Any guesses at the story based on this inspo picture??
