Our next release will be Cary Simms: The Ivory Mask. This is the fifth book in the Cary Simms series. When Cary's mysterious, and very flaky, aunt shows up for Christmas, she had an interesting gift for Cary: an old, ivory mask that, while it didn't show any signs of magic to it, still seemed magical to Cary. But when she tried it on in the magical realm, all things changed for Cary. The only question is that, if you wear a mask long enough, just who is wearing whom? Look for Cary Simms: The Ivory Mask, coming out July 10th. |

Did you know that we also have audiobooks? We're currently working through all our previous books, trying to include them in our current audiobook collection. But going forward, all books, including Cary Simms: The Ivory Mask, will now be released with an audiobook. These are only available on Google Play at the moment, but we are still looking into other avenues as well. Check out our Audiobook page on the website for which titles are currently available. |

Starlight is almost done. Woot. I finished the first pass on the first draft on Saturday before heading back for a few backfill chapters. I'm not all that fond of backfill chapters, personally. It usually means that I missed something on the first go through. I skipped over something important enough to go back and cover. That could very well mean that I missed something else along the way. But, well, it happens, and it's been happening a lot more lately than I like. Once Starlight is finished, probably Wednesday, I'll be doing another round of edits before moving on to my next book, Death Becomes You. This is the second book in the Death World series, and a direct sequel to Pass the Death, which did very well yesterday at Jersey Pride. It will be interesting getting back into the mindset of the death stone, whose inner monologue is heavily inspired by Chucky. I'm also starting to line up our September release, Cary Simms: The Ivory Tower. I've just put the finishing touches on the ebook cover, and the usual ebook pre-order listings will be up in the next day or so. Print pre-orders should be up later this month. |

The newsletter was a few days late this month because yesterday was Jersey Pride, one of my big events of the year. I'm pretty sure that I managed to read everyone's email address this time around, so welcome to the new subscribers.
As usual, the event was a huge success. No surprise, the big sellers were The Awakening and Cary Simms: The Fairy Mushroom Forest. There were even a couple that bought the entire Cary Simms series at a go, which is always exciting. I do hope they enjoy it. Interestingly enough, No One Can Hear You Travel has now been dethroned as one of our best sellers (going by the running 2-year sales), replaced by Demons Force. Demons Force had been a second tier for a while, but it pulled ahead. Our new release, Offbeat: A Musical, also did well... Which means I'm going to have to start thinking about adding Downbeat: A Musical to the schedule somewhere. Our next event is currently scheduled for October, Collingswood, our other big event of the year. However, as usual, I'm still looking for some other events over the year that can fill out the schedule a little. I'll let you guys know if anything new comes up before then. Either way, I'll be there with my usual display (hopefully outside this time), along with the two new Cary Simms books, The Ivory Mask and The Towers of Avalon. |
