February Meeting Details

The February Tucker 4-H meeting is on the 14th-Valentine's Day at 7 pm and we'd love to see you there!  At the meeting we will be hearing about some of the amazing club projects that you can sign up for, including several that are new to our club this year.  Project and junior leaders will showcase outstanding examples of things you will make or what you will do in each project.  The deadline to sign up for a project so that you can show at the Racine County Fair is March 1st so there's still time to enroll.

Also in the February meeting we will be making a heart to get to know each other.  Online people will be needing paper, coloring supplies, pencil or pen, and scissors.  We look forward to sharing this activity with you.

January Meeting Re-cap

At the January service project meeting, we made fleece tie blanket cat beds and rabbit chew toys to donate to the Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Center. Kathy from MADACC also came to our meeting to talk about the animals at MADACC and answer members' questions. Thank you to everyone who participated in making the projects! Finished beds and rabbit toys can either be dropped off at the Weisensels or brought to our February meeting..

Racine County 4-H Fundraiser

It's time for the annual Racine County 4-H fundraiser! We will be selling pizzas, pretzels, cookie dough, coffee, Kwik trip cards and 4-H t-shirts. There is a design contest for the t-shirt. T-shirt designs are due on March 24  to Jen Reese. There is an option to do a buyout for $50. The fundraiser packets and money are due at the March meeting! Pick up will be on April 30 at 8am at the Racine County Fairgrounds. At pick up, each club will have a table and it will be run like a drive through. There will be no online option or flowers sold this year. The money that is raised will go towards 4-H events such Camp and other fun activities that are put on by 4-H!

Racine County Fair Enrollment Deadline

In order to enter in the Racine County Fair in a particular project, 4-H youth must be officially enrolled in that project with 4honline by March 1. If your project listing with 4honline does not currently reflect what you would like to enter in the fair this year, be sure to make the needed changes by March 1. Please contact one of the general leaders if you have questions regarding your child's projects. We're happy to help!
