We thank you for your interest in the Digital Agri Hub (the Hub) and in the webinar “Scaling private sector investments in D4Ag solutions: Towards a sustainable, inclusive, and climate-resilient agriculture in low- and middle-income countries”.
To ensure you have a pleasant and smooth experience during this event, we would like to highlight the following technical and logistical matters.
The webinar consists of 3 sessions: one opening panel, and two concurrent breakout sessions. You will be able to choose each session at any time. Interactions will be made via Q&A and chat functions. To ensure you make the best out of the webinar, there are a few requirements:
To enjoy all features and interaction options of the event, please ensure you have the latest version of ZOOM (version 5.9.1 (3506)) downloaded.
When you registered for this event you were asked to sign in or create a ZOOM account. To access the webinar, make sure you are signed in with that same account. Note: no meeting ID or code is necessary to access the webinar, nor one will be provided.

How do I join the event?
You can join the event through two different routes. Via your calendar (if you have added the event to your calendar upon registration), OR via your order confirmation e-mail.
How to join the event via my calendar?
Simply click on the ZOOM link in your calendar event description.
The ZOOM app will launch and the webinar environment will open. Once the sessions are launched, you will be able to join them by clicking Join in the respective session (e.g. Investing in Smart Farming).
You don’t see the event in your calendar? No problem, you can still access the event via your order confirmation e-mail.
How to join the event via order confirmation e-mail?
Open the e-mail (e-mail subject: “Order Confirmation for Scaling Private Sector Investments in D4Ag Solutions”)
Click on View Ticket. (It will redirect you to your ticket view on your browser)
Click Join Lobby (a tab open asking your permission to launch your ZOOM desktop app, you might need to click Join Lobby again on that tab)
The ZOOM app will launch and the webinar environment will open. Once the sessions are launched, you will be able to join them by clicking Join in the respective session (e.g. Investing in Smart Farming).
How do I join the sessions?
Once you are in the webinar environment (Lobby), you will have an overview of the sessions. Each session has a join button. Once the session is launched the Join button will be activated (turn blue) and you will be able to join the session.
How can I use the chat function?
The chat function is available in the middle bottom of your screen. We encourage you to introduce yourself in the chat and ask questions in the Q&A function. Please keep an eye on the chat for event information and guidance throughout the event.
How can I ask a question to the panellists?
You will be able to pose your questions using the Q&A feature on the middle bottom of your screen.
Which session should I join?
We will begin all together in the opening panel (Session Name: Unlocking greater private sector investments in D4Ag in low- and middle-income countries) at 14:00 CET. Once the opening panel is concluded around 15:00 CET, you may join the breakout session of your interest.
To join the Breakout Session 1 (Investment opportunities for climate resilience via Digital Climate Advisory Services), wait for the session to be opened and the Join button of the session is activated (blue), via the Lobby environment
To join the Breakout Session 2 (Investing in Smart Farming), wait for the session to be opened and the Join button of the session is activated (blue), via the Lobby environment.
Once the breakout sessions are concluded, we will reconvene in the opening panel session for debriefing and ceremonial closing.
I am having trouble with my ZOOM. What should I do?
If you face issues with ZOOM during the session, first try to leave the webinar and re-enter. If the problems remain, please refer to the ZOOM help centre to identify your issue and find a possible solution https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/categories/200101697.
