Patrol 4 Report For Sunday 2nd January
Great patrol on Sunday, we had a bit of everything to make a long day on the beach go very quickly:

  • 3 rescues

  • 2 people searches

  • A couple of first aids

  • And some encounters with some inflatable toys.

All were involved with the searches. Brendan and Sonia pulled in the first rescue. James and Dirk followed up with a tricky pickup. Scruff and Dan stalked a boogey boarder and brought him back to safety

Dirk and Sonia looked after the first aids. Great support from all keeping vigil on the fl
ags and in the tower. Sam on the admin with Charlotte looking after the radio to Surf com till she escaped to the flags.

The final
act of the day which finished just after 6 was Finn and Scruff demolishing the biggest milk berry smoothie inflatable ever seen by Patrol 4 at Muriwai while driving the IRB.

Thanks team
for your support. Robin, you were in all our thoughts and we missed your valuable contribution to our patrol. It was good to get feedback from Kevin and Pete from their visit.
