The Karen Carrington Show July Newsletter |

I have a crush on summer, and a love affair with the beach. I'm the best version of myself basking in the July warm sun surrounded by peaceful water. All my life, my dream was to live by the waterfront and that dream finally came true in July 2017. I was scared to make the big move to the downtown Toronto harbour front in the heartbeat of the city because the rent was double, but I knew with determination and hard work I would manifest it. I believed in myself and knew that anything's possible. Fast forward to today, July celebrates my 4 year anniversary living at my waterfront sanctuary. My favorite place. My safe place. As soon as summer hits, I make time to sit by the water with my salad, sandwich, pretty fruit and my journal to watch the boats sail by. With everything going on around the world, for many of us, our mental health has been heavily affected. Depression, stress and anxiety start to creep in. So when these feelings come over me, I shut down my laptop and head to the waterfront to reset and rejuvenate. As I step towards the shoreline, I close my eyes, take a deep breath and visualize a world of peace. My fears, worry and doubt flow freely and wash away with the waves. This exercise takes 5 minutes and gives mental clarity, improves brain capacity and lowers stress. I encourage you to take some time each day to release any heaviness you’ve been holding in. You can use Affirmation #43 from my book a Fresh Start “Every breath I inhale calms me” Repeat it daily to invite peace and tranquility into your space. Now, let’s take a deep breath, sit back and enjoy this July Newsletter together. |
