Just 150 years ago, Black men and women didn't have the right to vote.
In 1870, The 15th Amendment passed and denied any discrimination against voters.
We still faced injustice.
Black men weren't able to exercise their right to vote until 1877.
What about black women?
43 years later, Black women were granted the right to vote.
We still faced injustice.
Just 55 years ago, 1965, The Voters Rights Act protected ALL Blacks' right to vote.
We still faced injustice.
Today, As we still fight voter suppression from state to state,
THE FIGHT CONTINUES!
