Dear Civic West Partners and Volunteers,
We want to thank all of you who attended our September Civic West kick-off and those who let us know you are interested in participating. We appreciate your enthusiasm and support.
What an exciting project we have embarked on! Our purpose with Civic West is to increase civic knowledge and engagement in the community of West Fargo.
Our three initiatives include:
community-centered communications,
civic and government engagement, and
community advocacy.
Whew! There’s something for everyone and all of benefit to the community. Since the kick-off, we have been laying the groundwork for our next steps. Our priority now is to launch the West Fargo community calendar on our website, while we pursue conversations with our partners on collaborative programming.
We are thankful for our sponsors, AARP and the West Fargo Area Community Program. We are pleased to be working in partnership with the City of West Fargo, West Fargo Public Schools, the West Fargo Public Library and Friends of the Library, Humanities North Dakota, AARP, the League of Women Voters of the Red River Valley, and West Fargo Area Community Program.
Thank you for your patience as we work behind the scenes for a few more weeks. We plan to be back in touch regularly to keep you updated and to let you know about the opportunities for your participation.
