Happy Reformation Day dear Livingsong Family, We pray this finds you in the peace and comfort of our Lord during this beautiful fall season. Before we begin, we want to lift up our prayers for everyone who was in the path of Hurricane Ian, as many are still coping with the aftermath of this storm. Even though the devastation of property damage, and loss of possessions was extensive for many, we look to God with thanksgiving for the protection over each of you who were on its path but were spared. Also we must continue to lift up in prayer those who did experience the loss of loved ones. As for us, this is where we found shelter (see banner photo above). After volunteering to lead a chapel service at a Teen Challenge Men’s Rehab in Sanford on the 22nd, we made our way to Flagler Beach to rest and prepare for another recovery support group gathering in Palm Coast scheduled for Sept 30th. When checking into the state park, the park ranger informed us that afternoon that we will most likely need to evacuate the next day due to the impending storm. Sure enough, we were the next day. As we scrambled to find a plan B for accommodations in the area since the gathering on Friday wasn’t canceled at that point, our friend, Pastor Derek @ Parkview Baptist Church in Palm Coast, was kind enough to permit us to park overnight on short notice. Once we received the cancellation confirmation later that evening, we needed to figure out our evacuation route and fast because Ian had officially made landfall in Cape Coral. The following morning we were advised to travel south east (thanks mom), and thankfully we found another property to park overnight, thanks to our friend/recovery leader in Fort Pierce, Elliot Gonzalez. The drive definitely felt a little dangerous due to the high winds and flying debris especially as we made our way through the coast of central Florida. This was the first time in our home on wheels driving this close to a hurricane, and by the grace of God we made it through the tense four hour drive. Once finally settled, as the evening progressed, the winds were increasingly picking up to a point we no longer felt safe surrounded by the tall trees wrestling against strong gusts of wind. At four am in the morning, we decided to leave the property and to our surprise, a nearby rest area in Port St. Lucie away from tall trees and protected from debris was the safest place we could be between two semi trucks. We honestly never felt so glad to find a parking space at a rest stop between two eighteen wheelers before, but thanks be to God we did. |

So what’s next? We have sadly fulfilled our final Florida ministry commitment for the year at the Recovery Church of Palm Coast. It was a special time of worship, communion, and fellowship. |

Can you believe we have been serving in Florida since March of 2020? What an amazing 31 months of ministry we’ve had throughout the sunshine state and we will greatly miss all of our family and brothers and sisters in Christ who faithfully do the Lord’s work. Looking ahead, our hope is to proclaim Jesus wherever the Lord leads. We give God praise for the new ministry doors He has opened in Georgia, and the Carolinas this winter. A few of our destinations include Columbia, Greenville, and Greenwood, SC; Hamlet and Belmont, NC. We encourage you to visit our website for the full mission tour schedule. https://www.livingsongministry.com/mission-tour As we prayerfully prepare for the months ahead, we hope you will join us in prayer for every person we will be ministering to. God continues to place a heavy burden and urgency in our hearts to reach the least, the last, and the lost with the saving message of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ because truthfully, without Jesus, there is no hope for mankind. “Jesus said, “‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.’” (John 14:6) Finally, has the Lord put a burden in your heart? Be encouraged to pray more about what He may be pressing you to do. God has placed every single person on this earth for a special purpose. Pray earnestly for God to reveal the course He wants to set for you next year, it’s not too early to begin praying, meditating on His word, and seeking His will for 2023. We hope you will share any prayer requests and praise reports with us! Until next time, we leave you with this… "If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory." (Colossians 3:1-4) 🙏

During our Orlando Outreach event on September 17th, we were able to hand over a basket full of undergarment donations provided by our friends of Bay Point Christian Church of St. Petersburg! Here we are with some of the leaders in Orlando who were actually praying for this specific need! 🙌 Special thanks to Pastor Randall Hildreth of Bay Point Christian Church, for leading his church to participate in the Lord's work.

Prayer Requests Your prayers would be greatly appreciated for my sister (sister in law), Angela, who is scheduling her first of two consecutive right hip surgeries. Prayers for the Lord's hand over this procedure and His guidance over the surgeon and medical team.
We are humbly asking if you would pray with us for all those who were in the path of Hurricane Ian. Many of our friends, a few family members in the Naples, Cape Coral, and Englewood area, along with thousands of others, were left homeless or picking up the pieces of what’s left of their lives. Our hearts go out to every person enduring this hardship and pray the Lord will comfort those who know Him and draw those who don’t into His revelation and saving knowledge of His Son.

Testimony “You two lead people who are in their lowest places into God’s marvelous light with your love of God and the joy you bring can light up a room and turn darkness into light. Your ministry is a huge blessing to so many and I’m thankful we were blessed to have the opportunity to know you and personally spend time with you. We love you guys! May God’s favor and protection be all around you. Love and blessings always” - Patricia Bryant (Tree of Life Church worship team member) |
