It has been a great news month for Shipped by Sail in a bad news world.

A couple of weeks ago, we were delighted to receive a new delivery of green coffee beans from Tolima in Colombia, which arrived onboard De Gallant into Penzance Harbour in Cornwall.

These beans are currently being roasted and will be available soon.

And we have the really exciting news that we will shortly be working with a new ship to deliver our delicious Portuguese olive oil and other goods to England starting in September.

In the meantime, we acknowledge that this is still a few months away, and we are truly flattered that we have been receiving so many requests for our 5l olive oil containers.

You may have read in our Spring Newsletter that shipping logistics have proven to be a little more challenging than usual for us in the last year, due to a combination of the pandemic and Brexit.

It is because of this that we will be adjusting our sails - just temporarily.

We have made the decision to bridge the gap until the next sailed shipment by making a one-off, road-based shipment of olive oil containers from Portugal so that we can continue to support our hard-working farmers and suppliers, and continue to supply our loyal customers with delicious, extra high-quality olive oil. This shipment has been fully carbon offset at our own cost so as to have as little detrimental effect on the environment as possible. We thank you for your understanding.

We will soon have a new stock of 5L extra-virgin olive oil available for purchase in our online shop.

We would like to thank you for your continued support and can't wait to tell you more about our partnership with this new vessel ... de Tukker!

Bon Voyage!
