We are Developing, Advancing, and Growing

Greetings from Carol:

Greetings to you after several months. As August comes to an end and summer also, it's hard to believe where it all began. I think since May it's been so busy in our lives. Starting with Graduations and Spring Fling at the church. We've begun to do a few things in the church building and church members have taken on their own to do things also which really blessed Pastor Mike. We had a blessing month for Pastor Mike in the month of July as he turned the big 65. We're in the process of replacing the back door with a commercial door, and remodeling the children's church room. We also will be beginning a building fund to take care of things like the parking lot and other safety things. The Ladies of Love have been having their meetings each month. We ended our study of boundaries. We have begun to be a part of Rachels Army. This is where Mothers come together to pray for their unsaved children and grandchildren. More to come on this. Our next meeting is on Monday, September 18th at 6 pm.  Pastor Mike & I will be celebrating our 47th Anniversary on Tuesday. We'll resume the meetings on Tuesday in October. The Beacon of Hope and  Love has been serving many families over the summer, with every month new families show up. We also had our Back-to-School Giveaway this month and served 14 children. We had Pastor Ron Dodson come and speak on our 5th Sunday night service. He will be returning on Sunday, October 29th. Bear with us as we try to get a newsletter schedule and settle into the best way to get our information out to you regularly. You can also view the Facebook live stream on Sundays and Wednesdays. There is currently no  Wednesday live stream due to Pastor Mike teaching the new believer's class.
