BAS in the Community: Mentoring
Black Achievers is excited to support monthly mentoring sessions at Grandview High School to provide college/ career readiness workshops & conversations to help close the gaps for seniors to help them leave high school well prepared for their postsecondary plans.
Every third Thursday we are looking for six (6) Achievers to go the school from 12:30pm – 1:05pm to discuss topics such as: Financial Literacy, Resume Writing, Mock Interviews, Time Management, Taking Advantage of Resources. All mentoring will be in-person at this current time.
This will be a great program to get BAS and Friends in schools. We are looking for mentors for these Thursday dates: Oct. 19th, Nov 16th, Dec 14th, Jan 18th, Feb 15th, Mar 21st, and April 18th.
