Beyond BASIC was thrilled to host our third BB Junior summer camp! Teammates worked on social skills, restaurant skills, volunteered out in the community, enjoyed music therapy and so much more. Check out the pictures to see what we did in the month of June. We had such a blast and can't wait for next year! |

Beyond BASIC team members hard at work at their Lemonade Stand. They can be found at the Summerville YMCA, Doty Ave location on Mondays and Tuesdays from 10-11:30am and again from 1-2pm. Sale proceeds support Summerville YMCA memberships and training for all 45 of our team members. |

We planted our garden way back in April and now we reap the rewards of our hard labor. So many healthy veggies, and spices like chives, peppers, squash, and zucchini that our team mates use in recipes when we practice our cooking sills. |

Huge shoutout to Lindsay, Michelle, and Ryan as they celebrated their Golden Goal party in June. They have been working very hard to earn leadership points in order to celebrate with a golden goal party.Lindsay and Michelle both choose to celebrate with a baking party. Lindsay made brownies to share with all teammates. Michelle made chocolate chip cookies to celebrate her golden goal. Ryan chose to have an ice cream party. Nice job, Lindsay, Michelle, and Ryan! Stay tuned to see who earns their golden goal next month |

Cost: $45.00 Ice cream party! We will be having OT MUSC students come to make ice cream and play summer games with us! Dinner will be chicken nuggets, fries, and fruit. |

Who: Everyone is welcome!
Cost: $10.00** Rock the night away with karaoke, Pizza, mocktails, and camaraderie. We are excited to be cranking up the karaoke machine to party for Disability Pride 2023!! *Please note drop-off time. **This event will be $10.00 but we appreciate any extra donation. |

On June 28th, we held another Beyond Connection Event. Caregivers got the opportunity to socialize and hear about the future plans of Beyond BASIC. Beyond BASIC shared some of our favorite entrees from our garden. Thank you to all who came out to this event! If you missed out, we look forward to seeing you at our next event, July 26th.
