Thank you everyone who voted for me in the Dead Good Reader Awards 2022 for my cosy crimes to win the New Kid on the Block Award for Best New Crime series. I was up against Richard Osman and Val McDermid so didn't expect to win and it was Richard Osman who won. The awards were presented at Theakstons Crime festival in beautiful Harrogate in July.
This month's newletter includes the release of my Christmas saga, some special news about my soap opera Riverside, two competitions, a 99p offer and an invitation to join me at my cosy crime paperback book launch this Saturday. It's a jam-packed newsletter and I hope you enjoy it. In fact there's so much that it might not fit into your phone or browser so if you reach the end and it says 'view entire message' be sure to click on it so you don't miss out. Thank you everyone for your continued support, it means the world to me. Glenda |

Riverside is my feel-good story of family, friends and community. It features romance, heartbreak and secrets, as well as gentle wit and humour – all the elements of a classic soap – with a cast of actors already well-known from TV and radio soaps. And it's now available in bite-sized 15-minute episodes as an audio drama. The drama is based on the already successful Riverside serial, which I've written since 2016 and published weekly in The People’s Friend. Visit the Riverside website at https://riversidethesoap.com Download the audio drama from Amazon, Audible and iTunes. |
