New: Disability In Social Work Scholarship

DWSW is excited to launch a new scholarship to contribute financial support to disabled, chronically ill and neurodivergent social work students for educational expenses, to decrease barriers and to increase awareness of disability within the social work profession.

Two scholarships will be awarded, at $500 each and we hope to increase this amount in future years. Applications are expected to open March 1, 2024 and close June 1, 2024. Scholarship winners will be announced during Disability Pride Month (July) 2024.

The scholarship will be available to any level of student who is, has or will be attending a CSWE accredited program, including graduates who are focused on paying off their student debt.

Learn more about the scholarship on the DWSW website here.

Donations are currently being accepted to fund the 2024 scholarship, so please share with your network!
