Our celebration of Easter, which began last night during the vigil, continues this morning with our Festival Mass. We hear again of, and rejoice in, the greatest of all miracles - Christ being raised from the dead - the very reason for the Christian faith. Because of the paramount importance of this day Easter has a season of 50 days and every Sunday is a ‘little Easter’. |

HAPPY EASTER Fr Gareth and the churchwardens wish you a joyful Eastertide. Please stay after Mass for our Easter Champagne breakfast. The church will ‘rest’ this week and there will be no weekday services. |
EASTER MEMORIAL TREE As has become our custom, we invite you to remember your departed loved ones on our Easter Memorial Tree. Please write their names on a tag, which, during the 10am Mass you will be invited to hang on the tree, which will then be blessed. Those named will be prayed for during the Easter season daily Masses. |
THANK YOU to those who helped with our Easter clean-up yesterday, to those who have adorned the church with Easter flowers and to those who worked to ensure that our Holy Week and Easter services were edifying and fitting. |

REGULAR GIVING We rely on the people who worship at St Mary’s to cover the costs associated with our church. Financial giving to fund the ministry of the Church is part of being a Christian and an essential part of our commitment to our faith. Please, if you don’t already, would you consider giving a regular amount each month? We are really struggling to make ends meet! No amount is too small. Using our parish giving plan is easy and you are in full control (and Margaret Quinney will be pleased to help you if needed). |
