And the Relief Work Continues... After a massive campaign to distribute food and other relief materials during the early COVID months, our work continues now in an advisory capacity. We recently advised another institution in designing nutritious ration packets, while keeping in mind the people's taste and cultural preferences, and the donor's budget. We had also written an article suggesting guidelines on how to design ration packets. You may read it at Outlook Poshan. |

Our Awareness Program Goes Online We are happy to announce that our nutrition awareness program is going online! We are tying up with schools that have been able to provide education to children from low-income families remotely during the past few months. From Jan 2021, we will conduct live online classes for children, where they will learn the basics of food and nutrition, how to 'unjunk' their junk food, and some easy and healthy cooking! Stay tuned for more updates on this. |

Meet Dr. Chitra Jain Foodshaala Blog Follower "My one-year old daughter who is very selective about her food also loved this dosa!" "I was very surprised when I saw that a dosa can be made by Jowar and Ragi also. So without wasting one more day, I applied the recipe in my kitchen and the result was awesome. Dosa was crispy, tasty and full of nutrients. My one-year old daughter who is very selective about her food also loved this dosa! So it will replace the regular dosa at our home. |

Being a Biochemist, I recommend this recipe for everyone. Ragi is rich in minerals, vitamins and high fibers and sorghum (Jowar) is good for cardiac health, bones, digestion, blood circulation and many more. Thank you Foodshaala Foundation for such innovative recipe." |
