KEH Central

Welcome to KEH Central

The rollicking ride continues, and sometimes you just have to sigh and let AMAZON take the wheel. If you received a paperback of TEX MILLER IS DEAD this weekend, or one arrives in the next couple of days, it's not an error. Not exactly. Not really. Nor was it the plan, but that mighty river is a powerful force that sometimes isn't worth fighting. The other storefronts and all ebooks will go live in May. So, if you are extra eager, you can order a paperback from Amazon now and cancel any other order. Or wait until the official launch. As long as my fun debut story gets read and... ahem, reviewed, I will be thrilled. Speaking of reviews... see some early snippets below.

xoxo,
Kelly

A little pick-me-up...

For you T-Swift fans... René Hurtado always wanted to incorporate Swift’s music into her wedding. And on March 18, she did — literally. Read about it here.

Inspiring Women edition...

  • On April 24, 1902, Jane Lee, a Chinese activist in the revolution of 1911, was born. She came to San Francisco on a student visa in 1922 to Mills College and later worked in the 1930s with the YWCA to find jobs for Chinese women.

  • Barbra Streisand sang the soundtrack to my childhood, and I lip-synced right along with her. She turns eighty years old today.

  • Estée Lauder, nee Josephine Esther Mentzer, an international icon of the beauty industry, co-founded Estée Lauder, Inc, a cosmetics company that grew from five employees and six products to the $8Billion-a-year-grossing publicly-traded behemoth it is today, died on this day in 2004.
