Biden targets all light federal fleet vehicles to be electric by 2027 >>

The White House on Wednesday announced a goal to make all new light-duty vehicles purchased for the federal fleet electric by 2027, and to make all federal vehicle acquisitions electric by 2035. The U.S. government owns more than 600,000 vehicles.

Battery storage allows more flexibility for DC fast-charging stations >>

Battery storage enables Electrify America to roll out new DC fast-charging stations in locations where it might otherwise be cost-prohibitive due to utility rates. It has 30 MW of installed battery storage across 140 stations.

Owners simply have to purchase the upgrade from the Polestar Extras online store, before downloading it to the car with an over-the-air update. The upgrade adds 67 horsepower to the existing 402 produced by the car’s dual motors.

A collaboration between Fermata Energy, The Alliance Center, and Colorado CarShare has resulted in over $950 in savings on electricity bills in just four months using Fermata Energy’s 15kW bidirectional charger and a Nissan LEAF. Toyota plans for an EV future, in Europe >>

The automaker has unveiled its long-term forecast, along with plans to go ZEV-only by the year 2035 in Europe. Toyota will be ready to achieve a 100% reduction in CO2 for all new vehicles by 2035 in Western Europe, assuming that sufficient electric charging and hydrogen refueling infrastructures are in place by then.
