You decide the topic and delivery style; a tragedy in the family or an
anti-lockdown rant. It's up to you. The end result will be judged on merit by a selection of judges and audience participation. Look it up on YouTube for some great examples of the genre. It’s been around for a few years now and many excellent examples exist.
We are looking for 12 / 16 inspired poets with original content that has significant meaning to them and that leaves the audience with something to think about. The main thing is to express your opinion about something close to your heart. The poem should be between 1 - 4 minutes long and original. It is advisable to practise the presentation at home to ensure you can give it your best shot.
