Jew of the Week reveal — it's a comedian! — a funny cartoon about swimming, watch my Jewish comedy show, and meet me on Sunday. |

Happy Friday! Welcome to the second Jewsletter! Last night I went to a show in Brooklyn called "Jewish or Antisemitic" based on the popular TikTok series of the same name. It was fun and engaging, and I learned that English muffins, the Red Sox, and summer are antisemitic and that Gwyneth Paltrow, sweaters, and baseball are Jewish. (Yes, it's a bit subjective, that's what makes it fun! Paltrow's dad was Jewish in case you were wondering.) That show is produced and hosted by Eitan Levine. He's the Jew of the Week — and he is the aforementioned TikTok star. From now on, I will try to interview the JOWs to get to know them better and share their stories. Eitan was my first one! Read the post here. He has an interesting background, and he is doing more than I even knew. Enjoy! |

This week's JOW created a viral Jewish TikTok series — and isn't stopping there |

Eitan Levine is a Jewish comedian who started a viral TikTok series called "Jewish or Antisemitic?" (21 million views and counting!) Last night, he hosted the live show for the first time. He also produces a YouTube Series called "Jewish Stuff." He performed in my Passover Comedy Show in April. He's smart, hilarious, creative, and authentic. You can even see him throw the first pitch at the Jewish Heritage Brooklyn Cyclones game this Sunday. Expect to see a lot more from him. Mazel Tov, Eitan! |

Highlights from the Passover Comedy show in April featuring our JOW plus other comedians! |

I know, Passover is over, but just like some people eat Matzah way after the holiday is over, these jokes are still funny months later. This is a five-minute highlight, you can see the full show here. The show featured Eitan Levine, FreddyG, Jess Salomon, and Arielle Kaplan. |

Since we have a bit of a Passover theme going, I had to share this cartoon that my dad sent me this week. I don't know the source, but I did find it on this ecard site. |

Meet me at the market on Sunday! Grand Bazaar is an awesome arts/flea market. |
|
|
I'll be selling Father's Day cards on Sunday in the Upper West Side (if you order the card, you can choose the pick-up option and get it at the market). I'll probably bring some of my other cards and Jewish merch, too. |
