Celebrating 4 Years

In May of 2020, during the height of the Covid lockdowns, we launched our website, Virtual Private Lessons as a way to connect with students and keep them encouraged, motivated, and inspired dancing at home.

Four years later, our website and student reach has grown tremendously! We now coach students throughout the United States, expanded resources online, host seasonal free events, and included in-person lessons to students in the Northern Virginia/DC area.

Originally from Kazakhstan, Dmitriy danced professionally & toured internationally with Astana Opera Baller & Russian National Ballet. He later performed as a principal guest artist throughout the United States.

Dmitriy has taught in several schools throughout the Washington DC Metropolitan area, including the Upper, Professional Training, & Adult Divisions at the Washington School of Ballet, and he has coached students in classical variations for competitions including for YAGP. Dmitriy holds a bachelor's degree from the State Pedagogical University in Chelyabinsk, Russia & is an ABT Certified Teacher.
