Our God is SO faithful to us!
As I write these monthly newsletters, I reflect on what God has been doing in His work with Legacy. I seek His direction on how to open each newsletter--what He wants me to share with you. This week, I've been so blessed to see the students at Legacy proclaiming and praising the name of Jesus! God reminded me of the verses in both Psalm 8 and Matthew 21, that He ordained infants and children to praise Him. He reminded me of how He placed this need to praise Him inside each of us from the moment of conception. He reminded me of how the enemy is silenced by this ordained praise. He also reminded me of the role that parents and adults have in nurturing these hearts of praise.
To let you in on a little secret, in an effort to save time, I like to reuse templates from past newsletters. I change the contents, but keep the format. Well, after I knew how God wanted me to start this newsletter, I went back to last January's template and, to my awe, the message God gave me is the exact message He placed on my heart a year ago--before Legacy had even started our initial enrollment! Here we are a year later experiencing this beautiful gift of His faithfulness. I am brought to my knees in thanksgiving that God is using Legacy to come alongside families and their churches (so far from 13 different local congregations!) as He lights a fire inside the hearts of our students. Praise the LORD!

Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger. ~Psalm 8:2
Jesus referred to this verse after He drove out the atrocities happening inside His temple. He was in the thick of battle and specifically mentioned children and infants. Our Majestic God tells us that through the praise of our children, He conquers our enemies and silences our foe and avenger.
What joy it brings us that God is advancing the plans of Legacy Christian Academy. It is our desire to walk alongside families, churches and the community as we inspire a generation to seek God with all of their heart, soul and strength and to know that through their praises they have the power to silence the enemy.
Do you hear what these children are saying? they asked Him,
"Yes," replied Jesus, "have you never read,
"From the lips of children and infants
you, Lord, have called forth your praise?" ~Matthew 21:16
