Happy New Year Alumni & Friends Members!
 

As we welcome 2023, we set our sights on supporting the SkillsUSA California organization's upcoming events.
 

The 2023 SkillsUSA California Regional Leadership and Skill Conferences (RLSC) will be held in a hybrid format (competing over the Zoom platform) Saturday, January 21, 28, February 4, 11, and 18, 2023 from 7:30 AM-3:00 PM. If you have a couple of hours to volunteer as a room Facilitator, sign up by clicking on this link HERE.
 

This is also the last call for RLSC judges.  If you would like to serve as a judge on Saturday, Jan. 21st, 28th, or, Feb. 4th, 11th, or 18th, please volunteer.  Not sure what to expect?  Would you like to serve as a Zoom Room Host for our Virtual Regional Conferences? 

We are still looking for Zoom Room Hosts to assist students with changing their Zoom Names and moving them to breakout rooms. 

 

State Conference:

  • April 13-16th in Ontario, CA

Annual Community Service Project
Barrier Breaker Bears
A bear from me, just for you!

 

The SkillsUSA California State Team is hosting a statewide community service Teddy Bear drive event benefitting foster children.

​

  • To comfort and reassure foster children as a reminder that they are not alone and loved.
     

  • Assist with emotional care for children who have experienced trauma.
     

  • A toy that brings comfort and joy and gives hope to foster children.
     

  • Provide a tool for caregivers to connect with children in these situations.
