Where are you originally from?

How did you enter into the field of RIM/IG?
- My graduate degree is for the Management of Information Systems. However, the two large projects I managed for the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME), were:
- In 2011 the roll-out and implementation of the Electronic Death Registration System for the OCME
- 2012-2015 - The Digitization of Historical OCME records (1972-2008), from various mediums (X-ray film, 35mm slides, Polaroid images and paper files) into a digital format
These projects and others led to my current position as the Quality Control and Records Manager (2015 - Current).
Which firm/organization do you work and how many years?
The Government of the District of Columbia - Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for 16 years.
What major RIM/IG projects are you working on, recently completed, or have upcoming?
In addition to those mentioned above:
- I procured and implemented the agency’s Electronic Document Management System (Qualtrax)
- Established and implemented the electronic signature and seal process, which includes electronic issuance.
- Developing a process to support a digitally born decedent case file.
- Worked with the City’s Administrator of Public Records to revise our retention schedule (last revision date 1984), which shall include a methodology to retain our archived records in a digital format.

Discussions are always better than arguments, because an argument is to find out who is right, and a discussion is to find out what is right.

How do you define success?
By the number of people that show up to your funeral, with genuine things to say about how you gave back and loved people

Home Decorator/Stager.
What was the last amazing meal you had?
Thanksgiving dinner.
Do you have any pets?
No, but at one time we discussed getting a dog.
