OUTREACH

The Nashville Food Project

For our April Social Outreach, we will be collecting pasta and olive oil for The Nashville Food Project.

The Nashville Food Project is a community food project that brings people together to grow, cook and share nourishing food. Their work connects people to nutritious food and to each other through vibrant urban agriculture projects, made-from-scratch meals cooked in their kitchens, and food shared with local poverty-disrupting partners. They use whole wheat penne the most but will take anything. And for all things, the bigger the better, since they cook at such a high volume preparing 5,000-6,000 meals each week. But they won't say no to a small bottle of olive oil either!

To find out more, visit https://www.thenashvillefoodproject.org/.

I'd like to attend the meeting

Lent, of course, isn’t only about prayer, penance and deprivation. The hope of Lent...
