Celebrate You

Hey Protected babes,

""My approach is to be honest — really honest — and consistent. That is what any growth will take. It is an issue I think [young] generation can be courageous enough to comb through."~ Michaela Angela Davis

I pray this week is full of peace, happiness, new beginnings, new stories, new opportunities, new memories, new experiences and love. In this week email I wanted to share with you what of a year of consistency looked like for me.

Today marks my 1 year anniversary being a mental health case manager, who is now in the process of transiting into the Lead Clinical Supervisor. This all happened within a year. There were days that I wasn't always at 100 percent, but I still showed up focusing on my long term goal. Yes, there were days when I woke up with only 20 percent to give but I still showed up. Even when I felt like I didn't have the energy to show up, I prayed. Most of my days even while in the office I am in a praise and worship spirit. Prayer has become a major action I do throughout my day especially when I need extra strength to carry me through my day.

As I prepare myself to transition into this new role, I was inspired when I sat and reflected over the past year. With GOD and really truly showing up for myself I've managed to share my story and journey with you guys while making my mental health a priority. I've been able to speak on podcasts, to women in communities, young girls with many more speaking engagements to come. I've shared my personal journey of unbecoming societal expectations and overcoming challenges such as depression, homelessness, and an abusive relationship. I had the opportunity to discuss my transformation from a person in need of support to a dedicated mental health case manager and advocate for improving living standards and securing funding for mental health services. My journey is marked by me saying yes to GOD, my resilience, faith, and commitment to breaking generational curses while walking in my purpose.

While we are still in Q2, I would not have been able to made any of these accomplishments without GOD. Last week I spoke about how effort + consistency = results. This is my testimony to show when applying this method to the plan GOD has for you anything is possible. I pray that all of you Protected babes are being intentional about you, about your goals and your faith walk with GOD. I hope this email encourages you to go after all of your dreams and goals. Ask yourself what can you do today that a year from now you will be proud of yourself? Write it down and start taking the required actions daily to help you accomplish this goal. Never allow an obstacle to stop you from becoming the best version of you. Celebrate You daily.

Protected babes, If no one told you today You are Amazing. You are Enough. You are gradually becoming the best developed version of GOD creation. In this season GOD is doing a new thing in you. Trust, believe, show up and speak it into existence.

Below I will leave you with some scripture that you can meditate and use as a tool to understand the importance of putting in effort and remaining consistent.

Hebrews 11:6

Colossians 3:23-24

Romans 2:6

Galatians 6:9

As always I pray that this information helps you in one or more areas. Remember to stay in prayer, stay in peace, stay intentional, but most importantly stay Protected & Paid. Kindly remember to share Protected & Paid blog with your Family and Friends. You never know who it can bless.
