HERE WE ARE, EACH UNIQUE & YET SO SIMILAR!
After spending a month in my world of May Gray Awareness, I am ready to welcome June and all the colors of the rainbow it brings. I have been fortunate enough to witness Pride Month celebrations in many cities, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Madrid, Dublin, Lisbon, and Paris, only to name a few. It is always wonderful to see how people come together to support LOVE.
One thing I know for sure is brain tumors do not discriminate. There appears to be no rhyme or reason as to who, why, and when these invaders show up. We are all very unique, living in different cities, growing up in a variety of socioeconomic environments, and choosing different lifestyles, and yet here we are in the brain tumor club. It doesn't matter if we ate organic our entire life, exercised, and never touched a sip of alcohol, or smoked a pack of cigarettes daily all while eating fast food for most meals. Other than this diagnosis being primarily a female condition, there is no real research that can say why these tumors invade our heads.
As always I encourage you to share your story. If you have yet to connect with me please reach out, I love hearing from you. Thanks for being a part of our little companion community. If you have to be in a club for brain tumors, there simply is no better place to be!
💖❤💕❤,
Angel
