[Newsletter] April Adventures

Hi Friend! Welcome to a new month.

Will it be a month of new adventures for you? Or, perhaps you're planning a pile of adventures, like me!

Are you thinking; "Why would you want to seek new adventures when what you're doing is so comfortable?"

Studies show that a large portion of people shut down when they get an inkling to try something new. Yuck. I don't ever want to be that stuck. That's why new experiences and adventures are at the top of my bucket list.

Things like:

  • discovering one-of-a-kind little boutique shops in small towns in Ontario, and, well ... everywhere actually
  • driving across Canada
  • indulging myself at a beer spa (yes, they exist ... just google it!)
  • driving a Zamboni
  • being an extra in a movie
  • and of course travelling ... to all the Greek islands, Ireland, Alaska, and going to South Dakota (not an April-fools joke!) ++

I have a very long bucket-list of adventurous things. Do you?

Adventures I've already checked-off my list - and absolutely would do again to have a new/difference experience - include:

  • glamping (glamourous camping!)
  • ziplining in Costa Rica
  • backpacking through Europe
  • staying at a villa in Tuscany and taking a cooking class in an ancient Italian castle
  • driving the narrow, twisty, scenic roads in rural Scotland
  • ATV'ing along the Sea of Cortez in Baja, Mexico
  • dune buggy-ing with my family in Dominican Republic
  • doing the "Tower of Terror" at Disney
  • doing Disney (period)

Experiences and adventure makes me happy. Sharing them with others, especially with my family and friends, makes them even more enjoyable and fulfilling.

Isn't that what we all want with a journey of adventure, we call life?

... to be happy ... to be sure ... to be fulfilled.

I hope you enjoy this months' edition of:

"As soon as I saw you, I knew an adventure was going to happen", said Winnie the Pooh. I also said that 26 years ago when my daughter Meghan was born.
Every April not only do we celebrate her Earth Day birthday, but I celebrate that she made me a Mom. Oh, and in 49 sleeps

I will get to see her in BC.

Doing Good at leaders2inspire

Allow yourself to feel more deeply connected to the work you do by attending one of our retreats.

Not only will our attendees network in a unique and high-impact forum to develop the skills and knowledge needed to build high performing teams, they will be inspired by working together for a common cause in solving a problem in the local community. It all takes place in a beautiful setting with some sun & sand, with maybe a margarita (or two)! in the Baja California Sur, Mexico.

It's an adventure all on its own, that has real impact to improving the lives of deserving people in the community. If enhancing your problem solving skills, improving communication and critical thinking abilities, being part of a team, and finding purpose on your 'to do' list, then you'll want to be there with us in November!
