September was an amazing month of ministry along with some breathtaking views from around the country! Below are some pictures and memories that were captured along the way.

On September 9th, I had the opportunity to speak at the FCA club at the Rockcastle Co. High School (where my two children attend). It was an awesome experience to serve with my son, Evan, as he led worship for his peers. I challenged believers to be on mission in their school to reach their friends and classmates with the Good News of Jesus. As always, I shared the Gospel message and gave an invitation to respond. We are so thankful that four students trusted Christ as their Savior right there at school!

On September 12th-16th, Amy and I stayed on campus at the Word of Life Bible Institute in Hudson, FL. There I taught a ten hour course in personal evangelism called "Takeoff to Touchdown". Students were fully equipped to navigate Gospel conversations and were activated to share their faith several times throughout the week. The students and faculty were awesome, the campus was beautiful, and it was wonderful to be able to spend some quality time with my bride while on the road!

On September 23rd-26th, I traveled to Alaska to preach the Sunday morning service at Anchorage Baptist Temple, the largest church in the state. I was honored to kick off a new sermon series for Pastor Ron Hoffman while he and his family were on vacation. The sermon series was called "Maverick: Living in the Danger Zone". I challenged believers to be bold in their faith - just like the early church - through the power of prayer, the Holy Spirit, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Praise God that two people put their faith in Jesus for salvation! Please join me in praying for the opportunity to continue an ongoing relationship with this church and staff, so I can train and coach them in the 7 values of a "Gospel Advancing Ministry".

In addition to experiencing God move in Alaska, I was able to see so much of His beautiful creation! I can't even begin to describe how stunning it was, and I couldn't help but think of Psalm 19:1 - "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands."

October has already gotten off to a great start as I was able to take my family to Puerto Rico on fall break! As a surprise gift for Shailynn's 16th birthday, we spent 4 days in San Juan and saw many gorgeous and historic sights. I was happy to connect with my friend and ministry partner, Gustavo Gonzalez, on his turf for some strategic planning meetings. He and his family also showed us around the beautiful island they call home. My family was excited to make new friends, and we are thankful for the impact Gustavo's ministry is making on the Spanish-speaking world (and beyond) through his work at Dare 2 Share.

• November 6 - Preaching the 11:00 AM service at Bible Baptist Church in Mount Vernon, KY and leading an afternoon evangelism training.

   

• November 12 - Dare 2 Share LIVE - a day of teen evangelism training and outreach presented through a national simulcast with local impact. Hosted at Northside Baptist Church in Mount Vernon, KY and 1000+ sites all over the nation. For more info go to dare2sharelive.org.

   

• November 17 - 21 - Evangelism and Gospel Advancing training with Greg Stier for the LOV Movement in Palm Desert, CA.
