Over the years JP Compass has transitioned from a construction company to a well-established and highly creative design firm that is so particular about the details and quality that it must build its own work. To reflect this transformation, we have changed our name to Compass Studio to better capture our new structure and makeup.

This is not an abandonment of who we were but an expansion of the values and ideals into a larger offering for our clients.

Compass Studio still delivers the high-quality and transparent construction process we have always been known for.  We still have knowledgeable project managers orchestrating skilled craftsmen and artisans to build the dream you and the design team have created. 

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT 

What makes this approach so unique is that we aren’t a typical design-build firm.  Most design-build firms are light on design and heavy on build.  They are typically construction companies that quickly jump through the design phase to get construction going.  We also aren’t just a high-end design company.  We build our own work. So you get the efficiency and convenience of a design-build firm with the skill and talent of a great design company all in one. 

JOHN'S LEGACY

As some of you may know John is slowing down and recently turned over control of Compass Studio to his sons Jonathan and Joseph.  We are so excited for new adventures for him as he transitions to a new phase in his life, and we take a moment to thank him for all he has put into the organization and its people to build it to this point.  Compass Studio is so proud of the values that John instilled in the company when it first started. These are still alive and well today. 

He built a legacy that his sons continue. One of quality, family, and delivering the best experience and product possible to the clients we love.
